1990 Electric Supply was assigned
Tampa Electric Company's (TECO) Strategic Alliance
Contract for Conduit and Conduit Fittings. This
was the first strategic alliance given by TECO
to an electrical distributor. In 1996 Electric
Supply established a stand-alone Utility Group.
Today, Electric Supply has active strategic
alliance and term blanket contracts with Tampa
Electric Company, as well as numerous municipalities
and cooperatives in the State of Florida. In
addition to Tampa Electric Company, references
include the City of Lakeland, City of Tallahassee,
Clay Electric Cooperative, Inc., Gainesville
Regional Utilities, Jacksonville Electric Authority,
Kissimmee Utility Authority, Lee County Cooperative,
Progress Energy, Orlando Utilities, Sumter Electric
Cooperative, Inc., and Withlacoochee River Electric
Cooperative, Inc.
